This is everyone’s favorite recipe for gingerbread cookies. Soft in the centers, crisp on the edges, perfectly spiced, molasses and brown sugar-sweetened holiday goodness.

Cream together Alfa Biscuit Vanaspati, powder sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Dissolve caramel and salt in the milk, add it to the batter and continue creaming.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix until dough formation. Chill the dough for an hour.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3mm, cut with desired Christmas cutters.
Arrange on a baking tray evenly, bake at 160°C until baked.
Once cooled, decorate the cookies with royal icing.
